Knavelite

Knavelite is a very small hack of the game Knave by Ben Milton. I wanted to take what I liked about Knave: Second Edition and revert it back to the simpler Knave 1e. This document contains some extra added rules and slight changes, and serves as a replacement for the original Knave document to use in my own home game. Literally just a houseruled version of Knave.

Changes and Additions:

-Character creation is from Knave 2e, with all abilities starting at 0.

-Rolling is now meeting or exceeding the Target Number.

-Removed stuff about player-facing rolls. Still possible, just not necessary.

-Moved the Starting Gear to be in Character Creation.

-Added Optional Gear Packages from Cairn Barebones Edition.

-Added Petty Items

-Added Fatigue and Spellcasting rules from Cairn

-Players can break shields to avoid damage

-Added extra buffer to death for higher level PCs

-Clarified healing

-Added the Luck Die from Cairn

-Added an XP system similar to Wastoid

Unless otherwise changed, everything else exists in the same way as Knave 1e. Enjoy!
